The OGL Genomic Collection Catalog is Now Hosted on Arctos!

We are thrilled to announce that the Ocean Genome Legacy (OGL) Genomic Collection catalog has a new home on Arctos. Arctos is a powerful, scalable community platform designed for managing and publishing global biological, geological, and cultural collections data for research and education.

With Arctos, you can explore the OGL Genomic Collection catalog with ease, using taxonomic names, geographic locations, collection dates, and more to query OGL’s records. Each record puts detailed information at your fingertips, making it easier than ever to dive into our collection.

To help you navigate this new platform, we have provided a quick guide to searching Arctos, which you can find here. If you’re interested in downloading data from your search results, simply create a free account by clicking the “Create an Account” button in the upper right-hand corner of the Arctos page.
